We specialize in providing data storage, backup and recovery solutions.
ioSafe is an American Company which has developed a range of disaster proof hardware solutions for backup and storage.
Their products include Hard Disk Drives, which are fireproof, waterproof and even drives which are shockproof and crushproof.

These days no matter if you are an individual, small company or a large corporation - chances are if you use computers you will have collected some important data you don't want to lose.
Backup and storage considerations have now become critical decisions you can no longer ignore.
When it comes to data you can't afford to lose, it is important to have a rock solid backup plan in place.
Part of that plan includes choosing the right media, software device/location for your backup.
Historically backup methods have been split into two key types, onsite and offsite. The onsite backup allowed for faster recovery and was more cost effective, but didn't protect your data in fires, floods or theft. For this reason it was important to also have a backup copy of critical data stored offsite.
ioSafe brings a whole new solution to the table, their Disaster Proof Hardware provides all the advantages of both the onsite and offsite backup solutions without the hassles and minimizing the risks associated to each backup type.

According to Rob Moore, the CEO of ioSafe Inc:
"The average fire lasts 15-20 minutes with temperatures of 800-1000°F at desktop height. Closer to the floor is cooler. Up at the ceiling can reach as hot as 1400°F. A propane factory fire will obviously be hotter and burn longer than a sparsely filled factory floor. All fires need fuel and oxygen to burn. Once the fuel or oxygen is gone – the fire stops." The U.S. Department of Commerce & National Institute of Standards and Technology conducted a Full-Scale House Fire Experiment which demonstrated that in a typical house fire tempertures peaked at around 1000°F (at 2.5 Feet from the floor) after 194 seconds (3 mins 14 seconds) and continued to burn at around 800°F until the fire was suppressed at 350 seconds. ioSafe's Disaster Proof Hardware provides the ultimate solution to today's backup and storage requirements.

The ioSafe Solo USB is an External Hard Disk Drive which is fireproof to 1550° F for ½ hour and waterproof to 10 feet for three full days (salt or fresh water).
Like an aircraft black box for your data, the rugged desktop ioSafe Solo external hard drive brings fire and water data protection to a price range that everyone can afford.
With capacities from 500GB to 2TB (2000Gb), a bolt down security bracket built into the case and high speed USB 2.0 interface, the drive simply plugs into PC, Mac or Server and mounts as a Standard Drive. The ioSafe Solo uses patented technology including FloSafe air flow cooling, HydroSafe waterproof barriers and the DataCast fireproof insulation.

Businesses use the Solo hard drive as a backup and storage device, no longer worrying about data loss from moving computer tapes and files offsite.

For the home user, ioSafe Solo can safely backup precious digital family photo albums, MP3 music libraries and video memories from not only primary hard drive failure but from natural disasters as well. You can simply drag and drop files directly on to the hard disk or use any backup software which allows you to backup to disk/file, such as the built-in Windows Backup Program or Time Machine for Mac.

The ioSafe Solo SSD adds an extra level of protection. Designed to withstand building collapse, the ioSafe Solo SSD with ArmorPlate technology can protect data from 5000lb. crush forces, 1000g shocks and 20 foot drops into rubble. Along with standard ioSafe Solo fire and water protection, the ioSafe Solo SSD is your personal or business "aircraft black box." Additional features also allow you to bolt the unit to cement floors or floor joists to guard against theft. The eSATA / USB interface allows for maximum compatibility across almost all operating systems, PC, Macs and servers. With capacities from 64GB to 256GB, the ioSafe Solo SSD can safely help protect precious or critical business data in a synchronous, real time mode. The ioSafe Solo SSD can be used in conjunction with online or offsite strategies to plug vulnerability gaps in your disaster recovery plan resulting in virtually zero data loss.

The first step to implementing a backup solution is to identify the risks, what data (files) are critical and a backup/recovery procedure.
